Jordana Heller, PhD, is an engineering leader and communication expert, with 20 years in machine learning, AI, and communication research. As the founder of Engineering Is Human, Jordana guides software engineers and engineering leaders on a journey to advancement, influence, and satisfaction.

Before founding Engineering Is Human, Jordana was a Director of Engineering at Textio, a software company focused on interrupting bias in performance feedback and recruiting. At Textio, Jordana led R&D teams using data and ML/AI to help writers reduce bias and accelerate professional growth equitably, in real time. Jordana earned her PhD in computational psycholinguistics and cognitive science from Northwestern University. 

Jordana's passion is connecting with engineers and engineering leaders in order to help them grow on their unique paths to greater clarity, connection, and context.
