As an individual contributor, you’re responsible for building great systems.
As a leader, whether as a senior team member or in a management role, you’re responsible for something less concrete, but just as important: alignment, trust, and enabling teams to do their best work together.
That transition isn’t always straightforward.
One-on-one coaching gives you space to find patterns in your work life and experiment with solutions, so your intentions as a leader translate into clarity for your team, and more confidence and satisfaction for you.
It’s also a place to step back and assess your direction: what’s working, what isn’t, and where you want to grow next.
In coaching, we might work on things like:
Helping stakeholders understand the true value of your team’s work
Navigating conflict and difficult conversations
Motivating and influencing
Communicating priorities clearly and keeping teams aligned
Building focus, resilience, and psychological safety across your team
Stepping back to assess your career path and what kinds of roles actually fit you
Every situation is different. The challenges you’re facing are shaped by your organization, your team, and your own style.
A human-centered approach helps us make sense of that complexity and find ways forward that feel both practical and authentic.
The result is less friction and more flow.
You'll spend less time second-guessing yourself or dreading difficult conversations, and more time feeling clear, effective, and proud of how you’re growing as a leader.
Your team will feel it too: more alignment, more trust, and more space to do great work.
Coaching is never one-size-fits-all.
Together we'll create a personalized 1:1 coaching package—part traditional coaching, part human-centered leadership consulting—to meet you where you are in your tech leadership journey and help you build toward your next career stage, measurably.
I work with clients to define actionable, achievable goals up front that we will focus on during our time together. 1:1 coaching is the fastest way to make progress on your goals.
This typically includes a 360-degree lite assessment of current leadership skills, as a starting point for measurable progress.
We meet twice a month for 60 minutes. Clients also have access to offline support via email/messaging for the duration of our engagement.
I typically offer 3- and 6-month coaching engagements, because real lasting change happens over time through iteration.
In the end, you should feel like you have built new muscle around your human-centered problem solving and communication skills, as well as your personalized focus areas, that will support you long into the future.
